Affordable Fonts is an independent type foundry based in New York. We create typefaces for identity, editorial, packaging and digital design.
Our goal is to build a broad, versatile catalog that spans styles, genres, trends and eras. We explore historical influences alongside contemporary ideas, giving designers more choice for projects with different voices, audiences and practical needs.
About our process
We design our typefaces in Glyphs, a font editor. Our own plugins help us refine spacing, place accents, clean outlines and turn designs into variable fonts more efficiently.
